Telemedicine in the Management of Chronic Liver Disease

Abstract

Telemedicine has emerged as an alternative care model for chronic diseases. This randomized controlled trial assessed telemedicine-based follow-up for patients with chronic liver disease. Telemedicine significantly improved appointment adherence and patient satisfaction without compromising clinical outcomes. These results support broader implementation of telemedicine in hepatology care.
